Computex 2025: NVIDIA Brings DLSS 4, RTX 5060, and DOOM: The Dark Ages Annoucements

NVIDIA brought a range of announcements to Computex 2025, including new DLSS-supported titles, the release of the RTX 5060, advancements in AI and updates to DOOM: The Dark Ages.

As Computex returns, the world’s most prominent tech brands have once again descended on Taipei to showcase their biggest and most exciting announcements for the year ahead—and NVIDIA is no exception. This year, the GPU giant delivered several updates, including the launch of its mainstream RTX 5060, slated for release on May 19. Also set to appear in a range of gaming laptops, the new GPU is positioned just below the recently launched RTX 5060 Ti and is aimed at a broader audience. It’s designed to appeal to content creators, gamers and users looking to upgrade their PC for everyday performance and versatility.

Packing support for DLSS 4, the RTX 5060 offers over 100 frames per second at 1080p in more than 100 games, making it an excellent entry point into the Blackwell GPU line. Alongside this announcement, NVIDIA confirmed that the DLSS 4 library continues to grow, now supported in more than 125 games and applications, with more on the way in the coming months. For those struggling to run the latest AAA titles, it’s a great time to consider upgrading to the 50-series.

NVIDIA also revealed that RTX Remix is progressing well since its launch, with more than 350 projects currently in development. The Portal RTX Upgrade is set to launch on May 18, just in time for the start of Computex 2025.

Next on the docket is the announcement of improvements to DOOM: The Dark Ages, which will see the game implement DLSS Ray Reconstruction and upgrades to path tracing. Slated to arrive in an update this June, the enhancements are expected to boost frame rates while maintaining the high visual fidelity that gamers expect when running the title on high-end GPUs. With DLSS support, DOOM: The Dark Ages will look more visually impressive, while pushing performance further to deliver the fluid gameplay experience fans have come to expect from modern DOOM—all powered by RTX technology.

While not as significant an announcement as those from CES 2025, NVIDIA continues to expand the Blackwell range. The latest RTX advancements in gaming and content creation continue to impress. Stay tuned to CGMagazine for more Computex 2025 coverage.
