At MWC 2025, Lenovo unveiled its most futuristic laptop lineup yet, including AI-driven Yoga and IdeaPad devices.
With MWC 2025 here this week, Lenovo has unveiled a slate of new AI-powered laptops that look impressive, to say the least. Lenovo has expanded its premium Aura Edition lineup with the Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition and Yoga Pro 7i Aura Edition laptops. Developed in collaboration with Intel, these devices feature exclusive software enhancements, including Smart Modes that adapt to user activities, Smart Share for AI-driven image sharing between devices and Smart Care for real-time technical support.
Lenovo is targeting the Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition at creative professionals with its Intel Core Ultra processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. Featuring a 3.2K PureSight Pro display with tandem OLED technology that delivers 1,600 nits peak brightness while maintaining power efficiency, it is hard not to be excited by what Lenovo has packed into the sleek-looking machine.

For consumers seeking AI capabilities at more accessible price points, Lenovo introduced the IdeaPad Slim 3x, powered by a Snapdragon X processor. Starting at $649 and available in March, the device offers 45 TOPS of AI processing power in a durable chassis that meets MIL-STD-810H standards. Even though it is more affordable than some of the other options, the laptop still features a durable design with a premium metal A-cover that meets MIL-STD-810H standards, making it resilient for on-the-go use.
The Yoga Pro 7, powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors with a 50 TOPS NPU, is designed for creators who need freedom from technical limitations while maintaining focus on their creative process. Its 3K OLED PureSight Pro display renders vibrant, accurate colours, while Lenovo X Power optimizes hardware performance to balance output and battery life based on tasks.

Meanwhile, the Yoga Slim 7 targets creators who prioritize portability without sacrificing power, featuring up to a 2.8K OLED display and the same AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors with 50 TOPS. The slim model boasts an impressive battery life of up to 22.5 hours, making it ideal for creators who need to work on the move.
Lenovo, targeting the ecosystem approach, brought Smart Connect, which leverages Lenovo AI Now and Moto AI to create a seamless integration between Lenovo PCs and Motorola smartphones, allowing users to perform natural language searches across devices and issue voice commands like “Show me my PowerPoint slides on my PC,” all managed through a customizable dashboard that now supports third-party Android integration.
